Better than boxed, insanely rich, and so drool-worthy. We been obsessed with these brownies that are an adaption from these One Bowl Brownies that were just a little too rich for our taste. (Which is a surprise because you all know I'm a chocolate lover.) They are super easy to make and only take 45 minutes max (most of that being baking time).
I hope you love these as much as we do! Also please enjoy this close up because melty chocolate is just so gorgeous.
Chocolate Lover Brownies
1 cup (190 grams) granulated sugar
1 cup (210 grams) dark brown sugar, lightly packed
4 large eggs
1 Tablespoon vanilla extract
1 cup (226 grams) butter
1 cup + 2 Tablespoons (165 grams) all-purpose flour
3/4 cup (66 grams) unsweetened cocoa
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup (150 grams) semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup (113 grams) chopped semi- sweet chocolate (56% cacao)
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Melt the butter in microwave for 30-60 seconds until completely melted and set aside to cool.
Meanwhile, add the sugars, eggs, vanilla, and slightly cooled butter to a stand mixer and mix until smooth.
Sift in flour, cocoa, and salt and mixer until well combined. Don’t over mix!
Add in chocolate chips and pulse mixer (beat on medium-high speed) for about 3-5 seconds to combine.
Lightly grease a 9x13 glass dish, place parchment paper over it and press it down until it sticks evenly to the bottom and sides of the pan. Then spray non-stick cooking spray over the parchment paper.
Add the brownie batter and spread evenly in the greased 9x13 pan. Sprinkle the chopped chocolate over the brownie batter.
Bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. Let rest for about 30-60 minutes until cutting. (Using the parchment paper to lift the brownies out makes it way easier to cut.)
